FAQs

If your question is not answered below, please email me at support@worldbuilding.university.

What is your refund policy?

You have 14 days to request a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds will be processed within one week. You will lose all access to course lessons, quizzes, files, and any user community, should WBU create one (unless your enrollment in another course has given you access).

If I don’t buy during an enrollment period, when will a course be available again?

It could become available again anywhere from 3 to 12 months from now, or never (though that is unlikely). I understand that timing matters and sometimes life just gets in the way and you can’t do it now. That’s why I can’t predict its availability – I must support the students who need help and can’t predict my own life events and projects. When I can open it again, I will! Just stay on The Art of World Building mailing list and you’ll learn of it.

How long do I have access to a course?

After enrolling, you have unlimited access to a course for as long as you like – across any and all devices you own.

Is the course open to the general public?

Technically yes, but as enrollment is typically open for one week only, it would take luck or constant checking this site to run across the sales page when enrollment is open – unless you’re on The Art of World Building mailing list, which receives notifications about course enrollments that are upcoming and in progress. You can join here.

What happens if I buy a course and realize it is not for me?

Just send an email asking for a full refund and it will be given, no questions asked. This must be within the stated refund period.

Does this work in every country?

Yes!

How do I redeem all my bonuses?

Some course bonuses are within the course just like the other content, so you don’t need to do anything to redeem them. If your bonus is admission to the Facebook group, you must request access to the group to be added by the admin.

What does the billing show up as? What is Teachable?

Teachable.com is the course hosting platform WBU uses to host and administer the courses. When you make payment, “Teachable” is what will show up on your billing statement. Teachable is a trusted, secure, and well-respected platform for online universities. If you have any trouble with payments, please reach out to both WBU and Teachable so we can get it resolved for you. The “Courses Portal Link” option in the Quick Links menu takes you to WBU’s site on Teachable, as do the enroll buttons on this site. The most up-to-date course information is always there, though effort is made to keep both sites in sync.
